git-royal
Comparison

Looking for a Linkfire alternative?

Linkfire is $27/mo for one artist and has no free plan. git-royal is $12/mo, and the free tier is a real one. But price is the least interesting difference — so this page starts and the back office it doesn't have at all.

The real difference

Linkfire stops at the link. That's not a criticism — it's their product.

Linkfire is very good at one job: get the click, route it to the right service, and tell you what happened. If that's the job, buy Linkfire.

But that job ends the moment the fan taps Spotify. Everything that happens afterwards — did the ad make money? is the creative burning out? where are the royalties? who owes whom on the split? did anyone actually buy anything? — happens somewhere else. In a spreadsheet. In Ads Manager. In an inbox.

A stream pays about $0.003. An email is an asset you keep. The link is the cheapest part of the job, and it's the only part most of this category sells you.

What you get instead

The back office, on the same bill

The audience, built for you

One click and the retargeting audience is created inside your Meta ad account, from the people who actually pressed play. Everyone in this category fires a pixel. Nobody else builds the thing the pixel was for.

Royalties, splits, and a store

Upload a distributor statement and get a readable report. Split it with the people who played on it. Sell the beat at 0% commission through your own Stripe account.

A page they can play

The Experience lander turns your 30-second clip into eight pads a fan can actually perform. No stems, no uploads — the MP3 you already have. Nobody else has anything like it, because it isn't a link feature.

The questions you're about to ask

Is git-royal actually free, or is it a trial?+

Free. Unlimited smart-link pages, your own subdomain, the Meta pixel, server-side Meta CAPI and TikTok Events, conversion tracking, previews, and fan email capture with a free CSV export. No card. Pro ($12/mo) adds the retargeting audience builder, auto-optimize, ROAS, fatigue alerts, royalties and advanced design. Linkfire's free tier is what your trial lapses into.

Can I keep my Linkfire links?+

Yes — they'll keep working, they're on Linkfire's domain. Most people move new releases over first and leave the back catalogue where it is. There's no migration to do and nothing to break.

What does it cost to sell a beat?+

Nothing to us. You connect your own Stripe account and the money lands there — we take 0% commission and never touch it. (Linkfire doesn't offer selling at all.)

Do I need to know anything about pixels?+

No. Paste your Meta pixel ID and your access token into one field each. One page then feeds both Meta and TikTok — some tools make you build a separate link per platform. It's free on every plan, including the free one, because measurement is table stakes and charging for it would just lose us the comparison.

Don't take our word for it. Build one.

Paste any Spotify or Apple Music link and watch the page assemble itself — artwork, every platform, a preview. No account, no card. If it's not better than what you're paying for, close the tab.

Or read the pricing first — it's one page and there's nothing hidden in it.
