git-royal

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 19, 2026

These terms govern your access to and use of git-royal. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

1. The service

git-royal provides smart links, landing pages, conversion tracking, and related marketing tools for musicians. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to use git-royal.

3. Plans, billing, and cancellation

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep paid features until then.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods.
  • We may change prices or plan features; we will give reasonable notice, and changes apply from your next billing period.
  • You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

4. AI generation credits (Poster studio) — no refunds

The Poster studio lets you generate images and video using artificial intelligence. It runs on prepaid credits purchased through Stripe. Each generation consumes credits at a per-use price shown before you generate, and the credits are spent at the moment a generation is submitted to the AI provider on your behalf.

  • All sales are final. Credits and AI generations are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds, exchanges, or credit for generations you are unhappy with, for outputs that do not match what you imagined, or for unused credits. AI output is inherently unpredictable, soplan your prompts carefully and deliberately before you generate.
  • Prices are per use and set by us; the price shown at the moment you generate is the price you pay.
  • Your prompts, and any image or frame you supply as an input, are sent to a third-party AI provider (currently fal.ai) to produce your result. See our Privacy Policy for how that is handled.
  • As between you and git-royal, you may use the images and video you generate for your own music promotion; we claim no ownership of them. You are solely responsible for the prompts you write, the inputs you supply, and how you use the outputs — including ensuring you hold the rights to anything you upload and that your use of the result is lawful.
  • You must not use AI generation to create content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harmful, or that depicts or sexualizes a minor. The Acceptable Use section below applies in full to everything you generate.

5. Free plan

We may offer a free plan with limited features and usage. We may change the limits of, or discontinue, the free plan at any time.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use git-royal to:

  • Upload or distribute any unlawful content — and in particular, any content that sexually exploits, endangers, or depicts the abuse of a minor (CSAM), which we remove and report to authorities;
  • Upload content you do not have the rights to, or that infringes anyone's intellectual property;
  • Post deceptive, harmful, or abusive content;
  • Distribute malware, attempt to breach security, or disrupt the service;
  • Violate the terms of any connected platform (such as Meta, Stripe, or streaming services).

7. Your content and responsibilities

You retain ownership of the content you upload. You grant git-royal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate the service for you, and to demonstrate or market the functionality of the service— for example, showing how a smart-link page looks. We will not use your music, artwork, or name to promote git-royal in a way that implies your endorsement without your permission. You represent that you have all rights necessary to your content, including music, artwork, and audio previews.

This license ends when you remove the content or close your account — except for residual copies that persist in routine encrypted backups until they age out of our backup cycle (see the Privacy Policy for retention timelines), and except where we must retain something to comply with the law.

You are solely responsible for everything you publish on your git-royal pages — including cover art, images, audio, and links — and you represent and warrant that it is lawful and that you hold all necessary rights. Your pages are shown on a git-royal subdomain and your files are hosted by git-royal on your behalf; git-royal does not pre-screen your content, and hosting it does not make it ours or make us responsible for it. We may, at any time and without notice, review, unpublish, remove, quarantine, or disable any content or account we believe violates these terms or creates legal risk. We report apparent child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement as required by law. You agree to indemnify and hold git-royal harmless from any claim arising out of the content you publish.

Fan and visitor data. If you enable tracking through git-royal — including the Meta pixel and Conversions API — you are the data controller for the visitor and fan data collected on your pages. You are solely responsible for: (a) having all necessary rights, consents, and a lawful basis to collect and share that data; (b) providing your own privacy notice to your visitors; and (c) complying with applicable law and with the terms of Meta and any other connected platform. You agree to indemnify and hold git-royal harmless from claims arising out of your content or your data practices.

Royalty statements (beta). If you upload royalty statements, you represent that you have the right to do so. The royalties tool reads and totals the data in the files you provide and is for informational purposes only — it is not financial, accounting, investment, or tax advice, and any figures shown are estimates derived solely from the files you upload, which may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are solely responsible for verifying all figures against your official statements, and git-royal is not liable for any decision or action you take based on them. To detect column layouts, we may process statement headers and sample rows using a third-party AI service. You agree to indemnify and hold git-royal harmless from any claims arising out of the statements you upload or your use of the resulting data.

8. Third-party services

git-royal integrates with third parties such as Meta, Stripe, and streaming services. Your use of those services is governed by their terms, and we are not responsible for them.

9. Intellectual property

git-royal and its software, design, and trademarks are owned by us and our licensors. These terms do not grant you any right to our intellectual property except as needed to use the service.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee any particular results, streams, conversions, or uptime, and any royalty figures shown are estimates based on the files you upload and are not guaranteed to be complete or accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, git-royal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using git-royal at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that create risk or legal exposure. On termination, your right to use the service ends.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Benton County, Arkansas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
